The base salary for sales staff can be deducted, and it also decreases when you become a store manager or department manager. There is little job security; it is purely performance-oriented. The year-end bonus is equivalent to one month, but it is based on the base salary rather than the full salary. For example, if the monthly salary is NT$25,000, the base salary is less than half of that. However, secretaries receive the full salary as the basis. Both sales staff and sales secretaries have performance targets and evaluations, and not everyone receives a year-end bonus. There is a NT$500 gift certificate each for the Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, which must also be reported for tax purposes. In addition, because of the flexible working-hour system, there is no holiday on Labor Day or other national holidays marked in red on the calendar. As for the early dismissal advertised, company policy requires each store to close its metal shutter at 10 p.m.; staff take turns closing the store, so there is no early dismissal every day. Basically, this company offers very few benefits.
