I was once threatened with legal action (a defamation lawsuit) after posting about a bad interview experience at a fellow site. At the time, I deleted the post and left it at that. Although my post contained no insulting language at all, after looking up the relevant laws and definitions, it probably would not have constituted defamation. However, since it was my first time facing a legal issue, I didn’t dare challenge the discretion involved and could only show weakness by deleting the post directly.

It seems that the manager who looked down on people through their nostrils is no longer there either.
