Pros:
Small company; the R&D department is still an okay place to stay.
The people in R&D are fairly capable and treat others well,
but the turnover in other departments is quite high.
Cons:
The company’s performance has been hit hard by China in recent years,
and there are many things the company wants to do but lacks the resources for (e.g., funding);
the culture is strange—everyone just does their own thing
and does not share. The general manager often comes over personally to tell you to do this or that, and the sales team also comes directly over.... They also like to call you randomly on weekends.
There is absolutely no project management capability, and no one helps shield you from interruptions.
Without someone to manage the workload and set priorities, the workload will explode.
If you are a deferment substitute serviceman or have just entered the workforce, you could consider going there to learn. Senior employees would probably be overwhelmed, because there is no money, work is assigned haphazardly, and you cannot learn much. You work overtime every day, but the company still does not improve.
