It is recommended that people considering applying to Adecco Personnel Consultants be cautious and think carefully. They may be dishonest, so be careful when signing a contract. On the surface, it is a glamorous foreign company, but in reality........ Please pay particular attention to the salary calculations and working-hour policies for dispatch?? contract-based?? permanent?? positions, or cases where the name of an internship is used to reduce wages?? and so on. Do not be deceived.
Adecco Personnel Consultants has multiple records of penalties for violating the Labor Standards Act. It is also listed on multiple local governments’ public lists of employers with insufficient employment of people with disabilities and no long-term improvement, continuously for ten years (ongoing since 2017~~).
Furthermore, after searching on GOOGLE, I found that Adecco has repeatedly been penalized by the labor bureaus of the Taipei City, New Taipei City, and Taichung City governments. These violations include excessive working hours, failing to provide employees with one regular day off in every seven days, requiring more than 12 hours of work in a single day, and failing to pay workers the required wages for working on holidays (holiday overtime pay, etc.). The list goes on and on; job seekers really need a “job-seeking truth detector.”
If you have worked for several companies in the same type of industry, you may also find that this company might be one of the top few in terms of salary—“beep beep beep” (of course, they have their own explanation). Let me put it this way: although fast-food wages are generally not high, there are still places like MOS Burger and McDonald’s to work for—why join Krusty Krab??
Attached are the official document numbers for Adecco Personnel Consultants’ government penalty records in recent years:
1. Taichung City Government Labor Bureau: Disposition document no. 府授勞動字第1040188684號 — failure to provide workers with the required wages for working on holidays. August 26, 2015.
2. New Taipei City Government: Disposition document no. 1043051122 — violation: daily working hours exceeding 12 hours. January 2015.
3. Taipei City Government: Disposition no. 北市勞動字第10530346900號 — violations: failing to provide one regular day off within every seven-day period and extending working hours beyond the limits prescribed by law. April 2016.
