1. Employees have to bring their own computers; the computer allowance advertised on the job site is a complete lie.
2. You are also expected to be a cleaner at work—you have to sweep and mop the floors, clean the toilets, and take out the garbage. If you do not do it, you will be fined.
3. The Labor Standards Act sounds good on paper, but do not even expect the minimum standards.
4. Female employees who take menstrual leave too many times are deemed unfit for the job.
5. No bonuses for the three major holidays, no year-end bonus, and no overtime pay.
6. Clock in when you arrive at work; after that, you are on a responsibility-based work system with no fixed clock-out time.
7. Poor environment—two or three people are crammed around one office desk.
8. Managers engage in internal power struggles, forcing employees to take sides.
9. Overtime is routine, and you also have to work on holidays.
10. The interview process is extremely demanding, but in the end they only pay NT$25,000.
