A company that showed absolutely no respect for job seekers. I initially interviewed for a quality assurance position and spent nearly two hours completing the QA test and translation. The female manager who came in was not from HR; she immediately said that the QA position had already been filled by someone with experience and that there was no opening left—only a sales position. She asked whether I wanted to take it; otherwise, the interview was over. I have never encountered anyone so overbearing, while the Japanese manager sitting beside her remained silent. The atmosphere was extremely awkward at the time, and I reluctantly agreed to say I could give it a try. She even said, “Why bother if you’re so reluctant?” After I got home, I was so angry that I called 104 to file a complaint. Whether they were trying to lure someone into interviewing because they couldn’t find anyone for the sales position, or their internal communication was so poor that HR didn’t know the QA position had been filled, please, truly, do not treat job seekers this way.
