Pros

1. There are more back-office staff than frontline service staff, and layoffs also start with frontline employees, resulting in severe understaffing on weekends and holidays. Overtime hours are not allowed to be reported.

2. On-site staff are treated like dogs. Previously, when the office lacked a water dispenser, they took it from the on-site staff break room first. We also had to walk a long way to get water or eat.

3. Whenever physical labor is needed (moving things, watering flowers, picking up fallen leaves, etc.), operations staff are always assigned to do it, leaving the on-site team even more understaffed.

4. Every girl in the operations department develops muscles from pushing carts and carrying things.

5. They constantly fail to hire enough staff, use part-timers as full-time employees, and still cut their hours.

6. In summer, you are exposed to direct sunlight. Supervisors only tell you to drink more water and find shade yourself, while also requiring you to stand at the entrance—that means getting sunburned.

In winter, it is freezing, and there were no jackets for quite a while.

7. Operations part-timers get a 30-minute break for shifts of up to 8 hours, and only get a 1-hour break for 9-hour shifts, while customer service staff working full 12-hour shifts get a 3-hour break.

*If you are considering applying for an operations position, think twice.
