I interviewed several times for the same position. Each time, I was rejected after the first interview, but I was never able to get hired or make it to a second interview.

It feels like their HR department interviews people just to pad their performance figures or gain experience in handling recruitment matters.

(Otherwise, why keep inviting someone who has failed the first interview so many times? <--- Does your manager know about this?)
