When I once went for an interview, the boss asked me to submit a marketing proposal for reference. After I submitted it, there was no further response. When I called to ask, HR was evasive and said the boss was still considering several candidates and would decide in a few days. I never received any notification afterward. I assumed I hadn’t been outstanding enough to get the job, but not long later I saw a slightly revised version of my proposal being used without permission on their official website. They stole someone else’s intellectual property—what a disgrace!
