A company that gives people severe Monday depression, because every day when you go to work, you never know when you’ll be able to leave.
In December, they bragged to employees about buying a BMW 7 Series.
In January, they told employees that, because they couldn’t book a restaurant, there would be no company year-end banquet.
Two days before the Lunar New Year, they told employees that the company hadn’t made any money this year, so there would be no year-end bonuses (the money was probably all spent on the car, right?).
They also laid off all the part-time workers (of course, there would be no severance pay!).
The Sales Department had it even worse: the supervisor is the owner’s son, and employees only found out that there would be no year-end bonuses when people from other departments told them before leaving for their annual leave.
As you can imagine, everyone worked tons of overtime without overtime pay and received no year-end bonuses, so after the New Year, everyone naturally rushed to resign (almost the entire company, including the supervisors).
The boss said, “Not giving out year-end bonuses is a test of everyone’s loyalty to the company.” Can a boss who can say something like that really be considered intelligent?
They even lectured us, saying, “I’m not afraid that everyone will leave. Since I started a company, I have a responsibility to save Taiwan’s unemployment rate.”
Speechless!!!
Karma has come to collect—run while you can!
