The salary at the Nantou plant is relatively better compared with the Nankang Industrial Park. When I first joined, HR quoted a starting salary of NT$35,000, but after leaving, I heard from colleagues that it has currently been lowered to NT$28,000. The benefits have also been continuously declining (presumably because the boss is pursuing cost reduction to the extreme). Colleagues often jokingly say that this is a great place to make friends with student workers, because the ratio of student workers to full-time employees is approximately 1:1.
