Pros

This is an interesting company!

Let’s start with the pros.

1. No pressure (the boss and the boss’s wife hardly care about your performance)

2. A lot of freedom within the company (the boss’s wife likes the American style, so it’s fine if you walk around the office in flip-flops)

3. Harmonious relationships among colleagues (this is genuinely the only company I’ve seen where the coworkers are all this nice to one another)

4. Suitable for taking it easy and enjoying a laid-back life (as long as you don’t make a serious mistake, you’re unlikely to be fired)

5. A good place for part-time work or a side business (almost everyone at the company has a side business, mainly because you’d starve if you relied solely on the company’s pay)

Now that we’ve covered the pros, let’s talk about the cons!

1. The boss likes to use how much overtime you work to assess your commitment to the company. You don’t actually have to do anything during overtime; you just need to sit at the company and leave later than everyone else.

2. Labor and health insurance are always reported at the minimum insurable salary.

3. Salaries are always paid late (not because there’s no money, but because the bosses are too lazy to calculate them).

4. The company’s direction is a complete mess (there are endless meetings where people talk without actually being able to execute anything).

5. The industry mindset is extremely backward (while others are already developing atomic bombs, this company is still discussing how to practice swordsmanship properly).

Actually, there are far more drawbacks than those listed above, but these are the points I personally care about most,

so I’ll only list these for now!

In summary, this company is suitable for fresh graduates and people who are just entering the industry,

but don’t be too surprised if you encounter a lot of strange phenomena.

Basically, if you can stay for a year and learn some basic knowledge, you can pretty much leave.

If you stay any longer, it will be frightening!
