It’s very easy to end up needing to work overtime, but there is only compensatory leave and no overtime pay. Compensatory leave requires approval, and usually you’re so busy every month that you have little opportunity to use either compensatory leave or annual leave. Many colleagues don’t use all their annual leave, and there is no payment for unused annual leave.
