There really are none.
There is no year-end bonus or three-festival bonus, and even bonuses are merely something I’ve heard about...
The boss is extremely self-important. What he says most often is things like, “Let me tell you...”
When something genuinely goes wrong or needs to be resolved, he often shifts all responsibility away, saying it is the employees’ responsibility and problem. He also speaks ill of one employee behind another employee’s back. Yet when I submitted my resignation, he said, “You performed very well. What were you unhappy about?”...
The boss thinks he is extremely capable, but in reality he just brags. He keeps saying he wants to develop e-commerce, but his operations and purchasing are mainly focused on TV shopping. Anything that does not sell well on TV is called “ammunition for e-commerce,” and then he keeps asking why e-commerce sales are poor (what kind of logic is that? You were the one who decided to buy the products in the first place—who else is to blame if they do not sell well?). Employee turnover in the e-commerce department is extremely high (think carefully before joining).
He keeps saying that he has the ability to obtain many sources of goods, but whenever employees propose purchasing products, he says they are just daydreaming, and that they should only buy products that sell well.
The production-line arrangements are also problematic. We are often called away halfway through our work to help pack orders. Afterward, management does not even care whether employees need a break; if they want a report, they demand it immediately, without considering employees’ physical or mental condition... Graphic designers are often pressured into working overtime to revise TV-shopping materials, and the TV-shopping department is often still working overtime late at night. Consider this only if you have a strong liver, do not mind low pay, and are willing to accept empty promises.
