將作空間設計工作室
Pros

1. You can learn things.

You have to do everything: measuring, estimating, designing client-change drawings, processing additions and deductions, going to construction sites, using SketchUp, and applying for interior renovation permits.

2. Listening to him paint a rosy picture lets you know what strange things an exploitative boss will say.

Cons

1. The person in charge believes that illness, menstrual pain, pregnancy discomfort, and similar issues are due to your own poor health and are not the company’s concern. Other personal matters should not take up work hours; handle them on days off. For all leave, please have the self-awareness to deduct it from your annual leave.

2. Discussions with clients often extend past working hours or take place on days off.

3. There is no project bonus. He keeps saying the policy is still being drafted, but there simply isn’t one.

4. When employees have problems with their work attitude, he never speaks to them directly. Instead, every time he tells unrelated people: “You people never work overtime”; “You all take leave whenever you want”; “You all…”

5. It is difficult to request leave. He will block your request by saying that things might get very busy later.

6. He thinks he pays a lot and that paying overtime is something extraordinary. Every problem is the designer’s or site supervisor’s fault.

7. The person in charge thinks the year-end bonus is an extra reward from him, and no one knows what reason he might use to deduct it.

8. The person in charge thinks paying overtime is something extraordinary, but no one knows when it will actually be paid.

9. The workload is heavy, and raising concerns is useless. He only says that the company is short-staffed and that you have to figure it out yourself. He says this every year.

10. He often makes decisions based on his mood.
