Gambling company
The company rose rapidly but lacked comprehensive supporting systems, resulting in poorly planned schedules and management practices that employees could not trust.
There is no comprehensive leave system; the use of a responsibility-based work system makes it impossible to take full advantage of leave.
Flexible working hours are taken to the extreme. Overtime may be required after work, late at night, on weekends, and on national holidays. There is also no clear overtime pay; compensation is issued as project bonuses, with an unclear calculation method.
The workload is very heavy, schedules are chaotic, and urgent tasks are often added, resulting in long working hours.
Responsibility is shifted when decisions are wrong.
There is no PM with professional management expertise, which often increases unnecessary workloads and working hours and causes misunderstandings between employees and managers.
Managers lack a sense of alignment. Their understanding and planning often differ, and because of disparities in authority, direct managers often pretend not to understand or know what is happening.
Conditions offered verbally are easily forgotten; get everything in writing or record it.
The company has a mistaken concept of remote work. It is strongly recommended that you do not work with this company in this manner.
There is a lack of a fact-based, issue-focused approach and of communicating with the people directly involved. The company will manipulate public opinion against employees it is biased toward.

I worked as a frontend engineer.
This is a gambling company, and the role involves handling financial transactions and customer service. Most engineers also have to shoulder both development and operations.
The workload is excessive, deadlines are very tight, and urgent tasks are often inserted. Code quality is not prioritized. The ultimate result of these issues is excessively long working hours. During my final month before leaving, I worked approximately 12 hours a day to meet the launch deadline.
There are no professional PMs or QAs, so too much time is often wasted clarifying requirements and conducting acceptance testing.
