Pros

They do tell you everything that's bad.

Cons

1. Before starting work, you have to undergo a two-day job trial during the probationary period (unpaid) = free labor. In general, most companies have a three-month probationary period, and you should be paid for every day you work during the probationary period; otherwise, it is illegal. Under the guise of testing, this company requires you to come in for a two-day trial before starting work. You do the same things you would do on the job, yet they do not pay you at all, which is plainly a violation of the Labor Standards Act.

They then gave a rather laughable reason: they said they were worried that you might not get along with the people there after joining, so you had to come in for two days first to interact with them. During these two days, all the employees would rate you, and only after passing could you interview with the director. They also said that if you did not get along with the people there, they would not give you whatever you wanted. This is a management problem—the employees are letting their emotions affect work matters, showing no professional workplace attitude at all. Everyone is supposed to be acting in the company's best interests. I don't understand why, if someone doesn't like you, they simply refuse to give you things. That reason is absurd! They also said that they have many rules and that you would have to spend half a day reading them. That should only happen after you have confirmed that you are joining. Why should they waste someone else's time without paying them?

2. During the probationary period, the salary is only NT$26,000–29,000. I assume they deliberately make it very low and then raise it to over NT$30,000 afterward. The Labor Standards Act does not actually stipulate a probationary period. If you are doing the same work, why should you be paid so little during the probationary period?

3. Bonuses for the three major holidays are based on performance ratings. If your score is below 75, you receive no money. This is the first time I have heard of a company that gives bonuses for the three major holidays but where it is possible to receive nothing.

4. At first, I went to the interview because the salary looked quite high. It feels like this position has a high turnover rate, and they are recruiting again not long afterward. Many of the nurses who followed the bosses from the hospitals where they previously worked have stayed longer; the others probably have comparatively high turnover rates.
