The first time, after I arrived, he said something had come up and that he would call me back in about 30 minutes. I waited two hours but never received a call, so I contacted him myself. He said he had forgotten and rescheduled it for the following afternoon. The second time, he also said he had forgotten and rescheduled it for that evening. When I went to the guesthouse that evening, the front desk said the owner was on leave that day. So who exactly had I been contacting??
1. On the surface, everyone seems very kind, but they keep judging you and whispering among themselves. Since the guesthouse front-desk area is so small, it was completely obvious who they were talking about, which made me uncomfortable.
2. They deliberately bring up strange topics or ask you strange questions, then emphasize that they do not have any particular stance and are not targeting anyone.
3. If you can fit into this discriminatory team that enjoys making fun of others, then this is the job for you.
