Read the community guidelinesThe colleagues are all nice; the problem lies with the people above them.
There are mysterious gifts at the three major festivals.
1. Because this is an e-commerce “service industry” job, it is only natural that there is a rotating holiday-shift system for shipping, and the scheduled working hours are already 10 hours (including a one-hour lunch break, although sometimes you will not get the full hour). Make sure to ask clearly and think it through carefully.
2. Upper management can easily come up with unrealistic ideas and do whatever comes to mind, while future planning seems vague or nonexistent.
3. Shipping involves substantial overtime depending on the “number of orders.” Working 11-hour days for several consecutive weeks is possible, so please consider this carefully.
4. Benefits increase and decrease depending on upper management’s mood; there are no fixed rules or regulations.
5. If you can accept all of that, after joining you can also experience the difference in treatment between the shipping department and other departments—painful yet oddly enjoyable.
6. Good luck.
