The boss has obsessive-compulsive disorder. On-site, they have a résumé form that must be used; you only need to bring your autobiography and a photo.
However, they ask about a great deal of personal information, such as marital status, your parents’ occupations, whether you have any debts, property ownership, and so on. You also have to submit a letter of guarantee and print the front and back of your own and your guarantor’s identity cards...
You have to wait for the boss’s second interview to receive the employment contract (to see what you look like). The boss will ask you many of the questions from the previous form and has hearing loss, so you need to speak very loudly.
These several organizations have the same boss: the Kaohsiung City Chamber of Commerce, the Kaohsiung City Police Friends Association, and the Kaohsiung City Machinery Association. If you want to stay for a long time, the only way is to please the boss and the boss’s wife.
The senior members at the association are all very nice.
As an assistant officer, you may be transferred among the four associations, entirely at the chairperson’s discretion. It is also possible that you will be assigned to work at his studio. If the chairperson regards you as a thorn in his side, you will be scolded every time you meet him; you can learn a lot of swear words from the way he talks. Salaries are all set at the minimum starting wage.
