As soon as I walked into the store, I noticed an extremely bad smell. A pet store that is generally well maintained would not smell that bad. The compensation and salary listed online are all lies. I recommend not wasting your time going to the interview. Moreover, after looking into it, I found that the store has been fined multiple times for illegal breeding. If you love cats and dogs and want to enter this industry, you should especially not consider this place. It’s terrible.

This is seriously ridiculous. I went to the interview and found that it was completely different from what was written on the job website. The position was clearly advertised as an outside-service role, with the job description mentioning pet transportation and store duties. But in the end, they expected you to be able to do everything: bathing, shaving, transportation, and cleaning. The NT$30,000 salary was also a lie—it’s only four days off per month, and you have to pass a three-month probationary period. Even then, you would only possibly get that salary if you have relevant experience. With no experience, it’s only NT$23,000. They also expect you to arrange your own labor and health insurance externally and pay the full cost yourself. Please, even the minimum full premium is at least NT$2,000 a month. That leaves only NT$21,000 of the salary. Who would want to do this?
