Cons

No overtime pay; it’s a responsibility-based system, and from the sound of the job description, you probably have to do a bit of everything, right? They should have advertised it as an administrative graphic designer position.

There is already a primary graphic designer there, so your main responsibility would be copywriting-related work. The design portion should be relatively limited.

(It sounds like you just need to imitate the style of the lead visual designer?

Generally, they do ask what salary you expect, but they asked how many days off per month I wanted if it was a monthly-days-off system.

I answered, “NT$23,000 and 8 days off,” and they said, “Okay, then we’ll go with what you said!”

Although I did say it, I was just throwing out a number—doesn’t everyone do that? Doesn’t the company still have its own policies? If I had said NT$40,000, would you really have offered me NT$40,000?

Also, throughout the interview, they kept going in circles and asking the same questions. My inner monologue: So, you weren’t listening to anything I just said?

They also kept asking me questions unrelated to the position. In that case, you might as well advertise a different opening.

Why advertise a graphic design position? I don’t get it!!!!!!???
