This company called to invite me for an interview, but when they called, they didn’t even say which position or company it was. How was I supposed to know who you were?
I asked which company and position they were calling about, and only then did they tell me. Fine—but then they immediately tried to schedule an interview for the next day or the following Monday. I had merely said that I happened to already have interviews scheduled during both of those time slots and asked, “Could you please arrange another time?”
The other person then said, “I think the essential trait for a marketing planner is being easy to work with.” They continued, “I don’t think we’re a good fit,” and then hung up on me????
I was completely baffled. I didn’t have much of an impression of this company, so I checked my digital bank account. It turned out that this company had automatically submitted my application for a marketing planning position and invited me to an interview, even though I had already directly declined the interview invitation through the digital banking platform.
Wow, I didn’t even want to interview at your company, and I still had to be treated this way. What a classic.
Best wishes to everyone planning to join this company. I hope you don’t have to work with that person whose eyes seem to be on top of their head, who is unreasonable, and who seems to lack social awareness and experience.
