I previously applied for the “Internet Programmer” position at this company.
After arriving for the interview, all the work discussed was for an “Administrative Assistant” position.
The person who interviewed me also directly said it was because I had experience as an administrative assistant…etc. -_-
Although this kind of tactic is quite common, it still felt really bad.
When I asked whether overtime would be paid or compensated with time off in lieu (for the administrative assistant position),
the answer was:
Overtime is not very common, and even if you work overtime, it only counts if it has been approved by a supervisor.
If you work overtime because you could not finish the work yourself, it does not count as overtime?!?!?!?!?
They then completely failed to answer the question about overtime pay or time off in lieu.
The company is located inside an office building.
The interior was dirty and shabby—worse than my previous company.
