I only remember that about two or three months after I first started working there, the boss's wife’s attitude toward me changed completely. She became impatient and emotional. If I reacted a little slowly or made her repeat something she had already said once, she would look very displeased and speak very rudely in front of everyone. It was hard to predict her mood. Sometimes she would get angry about the same thing, while on another day, if she happened to be in a good mood, it would be fine. At the time, I reflected on whether my abilities and responsiveness were not good enough, but the longtime employees said it was nothing unusual.
