Read the community guidelinesI talked with the owner for a long time. She initially said she was very busy and could only chat briefly, but we ended up talking for more than two hours, and in between she even took me around the company. I get the feeling that the owner looks after disadvantaged people and is very capable. Although the company isn’t large, it offers quite a few benefits.
The start date and salary had already been confirmed, but the day before I was supposed to report for work, she told me not to come because the owner had to go to southern Taiwan and wouldn’t have time to train me, and told me to hurry up and find another job... I told her that I had turned down another job for this position, and she simply replied, “There’s nothing I can do either...” I was speechless...
I’ll say more if I think of anything.
1. The environment is dirty and messy, with things placed everywhere.
2. It’s full of elderly employees—a sunset company.
3. The female boss talks a lot, mostly spouting nonsense. She keeps bragging about how profitable her company is, how many properties she has bought, and how many high-achieving graduates want to work for her company. An environment like that is impossible.
4. The female boss is very defensive and is afraid that people she hires won’t show up, so she strikes first. After agreeing on a start date, she may tell the person not to come to work anymore. WTF?
5. Everything inside is from mainland China; the only way to describe it is as a complete mess.
6. If you want to work in warehouse management, please don’t consider this company.
Overall, it’s really awful. I advise anyone who sees this not to even go to the interview.
The mothers among the colleagues are easy to chat with, but there is no meaningful substance to the work.
1. Work officially ends at 5 p.m., but you will often have to keep waiting for the sales staff to deliver orders. It may even drag on until 7 or 8 p.m.
2. A few of the sales staff are very arrogant and do not really pay attention to people, but since they have no substantive work-related connection with me, I can let it go.
3. The internal work environment is dirty and disorderly. Cockroaches often run around, which is very uncomfortable.
4. The environment is stuffy and hot in summer, and the restrooms are dirty and disorderly. You have to bring your own toilet paper.
5. The female boss often goes back on her word, saying one thing and doing another. There is no system at all, the salary is fixed, and there is no room for a raise.
