Read the community guidelinesThere isn’t too much work
My colleagues are nice
There are too many drawbacks
You get scolded for asking too many questions
You also get scolded for not asking
If you haven’t worked in the advertising industry before, there will be an adjustment period when you first join
The main issue is that the company also handles handovers very poorly
When something goes wrong, the boss will only shift the blame onto you
But the point is that you already consulted him beforehand
Whenever something goes wrong, he will still blame you

Sometimes it’s very relaxed; honestly, the work is never scheduled too tightly (unless the boss is in a hurry....
There isn’t too much overtime (the boss owns three companies, and sometimes we have to help with design work for the other companies).
Every single colleague is genuinely very nice (I think it’s because the boss’s personality is very [omitted/unclear], which is why everyone gets along so well).
I saw other comments saying that calling him short-tempered was really too conservative.
You can see him yelling at everyone in the office during your very first week.
On my fourth day as a new employee, I was loudly berated because I hadn’t yet figured out the situation.
When you join this company, there is no clear training. Every problem is blamed on the new employees.
If you are not experienced in advertising and sign printing, it may be very difficult at first. They do not train you when you start, and somehow everything is your fault.
Because it is a family business, the boss sometimes orders designers around to clean up things at his home (dishes and so on) or put things in her refrigerator.
Everyone takes turns cleaning the restroom and taking out the trash every week.
The turnover among designers is extremely high (the work is very much like being a general assistant/art worker).
The salary is on the low side.
Some contract terms do not match the facts.
**All of the above is still tolerable, but the following bizarre anecdotes are truly strange**
Bizarre anecdotes:
1. I received a box of Mid-Autumn Festival mooncakes, but afterward the boss took it back, saying he was going to give it to a client. Designers, remember to take the pomelo when you leave work.
2. I was told to clean the entire floor. I only finished cleaning the floor where I worked, and then the boss’s wife told me I didn’t need to clean the other floors.
When it was almost time to leave, the boss came and questioned me about why I hadn’t cleaned the other floors, saying that this was something that had to be done every Friday. (I think they wanted me to clean the entire building that evening because guests were coming to visit their home, haha.) He didn’t even listen when I explained that I had something to do that evening and couldn’t stay; he just went downstairs to greet the guests. After I was pressured into going upstairs to sweep, the boss’s wife told me it was fine and that I didn’t need to clean, so I returned to the office.
A collection of the boss’s famous quotes:
1. On my first day at work, the boss said, “Our company doesn’t need you to work overtime, so there is no overtime pay.”
2. “How can you make the boss speak so loudly!?”
3. On my first day at work, the boss said: “Actually, I didn’t really want to hire someone with no experience, but since you seem like an honest person, I thought I’d give you a chance.”
Near the end of my first day at work: “I’d like to ask you to help me design a comic character.” (My previous job was drawing comics.)
4. “Why are you always so nervous!!!? Can’t you come back after you’re no longer nervous!?”
These are my impressions after spending two weeks and one additional day (11 days) at this company.
I had a great time talking with the boss during the interview; the boss is quite narcissistic.
The boss is extremely impatient.
The company has a very high turnover rate among designers.
The pay under the responsibility-based system is just so-so.
The colleagues are very nice
You have to do everything and learn a lot
The same boss as Kaisen Art
The boss is very fierce and impatient
Also, I don’t want to clean his grandson’s diapers...
