Read the community guidelinesOvertime pay (in accordance with government regulations), public holidays are days off, a fixed year-end bonus of one month’s salary, taking leave is very easy, and things are very relaxed when there isn’t much work (for example, when the supervisors and boss are away during the company’s overseas exhibitions).
The company computers have no internet access, and the boss does not like employees to have close relationships with one another (ideally, each person should only be familiar with him). Unless required for business purposes, other positions do not even have telephones. Basically, apart from the boss and supervisors, no one at work will talk to you. (The design department has a high turnover rate and only likes hiring women who have just graduated.) It is a company suited to ultimate loners.
The boss has very strong ideas of his own, but is too narrow-minded, so the business has never been able to expand. The supervisor has tried hard to bring about change, but their mindset cannot overcome the inherently comfortable environment, resulting in ideas that are often overly naive and a tendency to muddle through. The boss wants to build an emotional connection with you to improve your work efficiency, yet is unwilling to genuinely treat you as one of his own. No matter how hard you work here, you are still just an outsider and a newcomer. You need to find your own direction for gaining a sense of accomplishment at work. These are very common problems in family businesses. What a shame.
It can be used as a stepping stone for newcomers. The company is willing to spend a long time training people, but due to the factors mentioned above, few people can endure the high turnover rate. It is not very suitable for long-term development. Regardless of how long you work there, your salary is almost certainly never going to exceed 30,000. It is truly a company suitable only for “fresh graduates entering society.”
