1. Senior employees bully newcomers, and the office atmosphere is poor.
2. They changed senior employees’ salaries from monthly pay to the minimum hourly wage.
3. I applied for a position at the Longtan farm, but when the Zhongli company was short-staffed, they wanted to keep me at the company, which was different from what they had initially said. However, after I pushed back, I was assigned to the position I originally applied for.
4. No overtime pay.
5. They did not give me work and said I was slacking off (in fact, I was just pretending to be busy and casually browsing documents).
6. The system they use is outdated and extremely difficult to use.
7. The Longtan farm has no systems or procedures in place; even work orders have to be created using Excel.
8. At Longtan, someone in a managerial position would say in the morning which vegetables were to be sold, then claim in the afternoon that they had never said that and that I had misheard them. This happened more than three times. As an ordinary employee, I could not talk back to them.
9. Things at the farm were a complete mess. They did not teach me anything, yet they expected a newcomer to establish all kinds of systems from scratch.
