Several aunties like to gossip about others behind their backs. In particular, you often hear about one particularly awful aunty going around reporting negatively on others, even though she herself isn't doing much better.

People who know how to cozy up to those in power are always favored: they have an easy time at work and can chat to their heart's content, and whenever they make a mistake, they can simply blame someone else because they have a supervisor backing them up.

Following on from point 2: workplace bullying is severe. If you are someone who works conscientiously but moves more slowly, congratulations—you will be the one held responsible.

Following on from point 3: if you really do become a victim, remember that there is no point reporting it to the boss, because the boss will only tell you that they can't do anything about it.
