Read the community guidelinesThe most polite person throughout the entire interview process was the security guard at the entrance.
Extremely disrespectful toward interviewees:
After arriving at the company at the agreed-upon time, I discovered that the department manager responsible for the interview was also hosting another group of visitors.
The interviewer actually had me share the same conference room with the visitors. While they discussed business, I sat beside them filling out a personnel information form and answering some simple questions.
They treated the job applicant as if I were invisible. Even though they knew I was there for an interview, they joined the visitors in criticizing other people who had previously interviewed, saying, “They have no experience, yet they dare to ask for 30K. I really don’t know what young people today are thinking.” At the same time, they complained about being unable to find people, despite using Informix, a programming language that is guaranteed to be unusable after Chunghwa Telecom’s “Spring Rain” project.
The company also has serious internal infighting—you can feel it even when you are only there for an interview.
