Pros

If you are simply looking for a job that will keep you fed, you can probably stay here for a long time as long as you constantly flatter the chairman, the CEO (the chairman’s daughter), and the chairman’s special assistant (the chairman’s son), provided that you do not mind continually currying favor and flattering them. However, this is on the condition that they still think they need you. If the company’s senior management decides you are redundant, they will initiate a series of workplace bullying tactics, while the so-called old retainers (redundant employees) will also join in with constant sarcasm and taunts in order to curry favor, until you can no longer stand it and resign voluntarily.

Cons

The company currently has two recorded violations of the Labor Standards Act.

https://ilabor.ntpc.gov.tw/cloud/Violate/filter can be used to search for them.

It has also been taken to court for illegally laying off/dismissing employees.

The chairman’s attitude toward hiring:

What he wants are servants, not talent.

Giving you a job is already a favor, so you should be grateful.

Any other requests are regarded as ungrateful behavior.

Senior management treats the law as if it were nonexistent, and therefore often says, “There is no Labor Standards Act here, only the ‘Dala Act.’”

For the reasons stated above, the following notice was posted inside the company:

What am I doing for the country?

What am I doing for the company?

Not what the country or the company is doing for me.

As long as it is fair and reasonable,

I only need to receive the compensation I am entitled to.

In the end, I will definitely succeed.

As this is a family-run business, it operates as a one-person dictatorship.

Whatever the people above say is what gets done.

It is best not to have an opinion.

Senior management is accustomed to making grand promises; all commitments are for reference only.
