Seeing that this company is recruiting again, I’ll explain the graphic designer’s job responsibilities once more:
The website says: “Design and produce print promotional materials, posters, and flyers. Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator, familiar with the prepress and final-artwork production process, able to independently plan and execute projects, must have basic photography skills, web design.”
The requirement to be “proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator” is true, but as for the other job responsibilities.....no comment....
Also, don’t think that having a high EQ means you can handle and resolve everything at the last minute. The boss’s deep-seated knot is something even senior employees cannot resolve. Don’t waste one to three months of your time stuck at this company.
The colleagues and supervisor are very nice; during work hours, everyone just waits for the boss to assign tasks.
The boss is fickle and moody. Take many of his plans with a grain of salt and focus on doing the work at hand, because there is a high chance that the next day he will completely disavow the work he previously assigned, believing that you did it haphazardly and wasted time. One day, the boss may feel that there is apparently nothing left for you to do and that the department can get by without you—and you may be let go that very day.
