Position interviewed for: Administrative Assistant
1. The interview includes a logic test (similar to an IQ test) and four parking-fee calculation questions. Candidates are not informed of this in advance.
2. It feels like a relatively traditional company.
3. On special days (such as typhoon days and the Lunar New Year), employees need to take turns handling customer-service calls. The default arrangement is compensatory leave; only if the leave cannot be fully taken by the end of the year will it be converted into money.

The parking attendant position listed on 104 covers the greater Taipei area without a specific location. The company assigns the work location, which is somewhat inconvenient for job seekers. In addition, the listing does not specify whether the shift is day or night, the working hours, or the company benefits. When I called to ask the company representative about the details of the position, they seemed extremely impatient (the listing stated that applicants should call to schedule an interview). You can imagine the company’s standards.
The woman who explained the job duties, salary, and benefits to me during the interview provided detailed information and had a humble attitude.
I was notified by phone that I had been hired, but on the day of signing the contract, I was required to provide copies of my own and my guarantor’s identification cards, as well as seals. Since my family did not really want to act as guarantor, I had difficulty finding one. I learned online that some companies offer personal guarantee insurance for situations where an employee cannot find a guarantor.
After asking HR, I was told that the company does not offer personal guarantee insurance.
