There is no overtime pay, and they don’t comply with the Labor Standards Act. After working for a year, there is no annual leave; the company stipulates that annual leave is only 4 days. Even if you’re not in sales, you still have to shoulder sales targets—every month you have to reach 15 million. The bonus is a NT$3,000 7-ELEVEN gift voucher. What is this? Even when helping out with other matters, no one said we would have to shoulder sales targets... Can this be reported?
All the employees are very polite on the surface!
The company proactively called to invite me to an interview, and I arrived on time on the day of the interview. However, an employee said that the boss was in a meeting, making the job applicant wait for nearly half an hour. The salary was NT$28,000 plus NT$2,000 for perfect attendance, with an all-inclusive responsibility system. The duties included packing orders, graphic design, driving to the Linkou warehouse to put away goods, and moving goods. Each month, one had to meet performance targets of NT$15 million, or NT$30 million over two months. Labor insurance was reported based on the minimum wage, and there were only four days of annual leave. They said that employees would still be paid when typhoon days were declared holidays. They claimed to have consulted a lawyer about the legality, but when it came to underreporting a high salary, they kept deflecting the issue! After the interview, I had already stated that I was not interested.
His son personally waited for me to finish work for the interview, and I really appreciated that.
There are only four days of annual leave and no overtime pay, but you are expected to shoulder performance targets—and not small ones either! We’re talking tens of millions! Whenever you’re working, there’s always a duck beside you going “quack, quack, quack.” It’s incredibly distracting and makes it impossible to work. Before you’ve even done your work, there’s already a duck next to you asking you a whole bunch of questions. There simply aren’t enough hours in the workday, and you can’t leave on time either, because they’ll find something for you to do right when you’re about to get off work!
