Pros

Kind colleagues

Cons

1. Although the company has been around for nearly 40 years, it still does things in the traditional way... It is extremely roundabout and inefficient.

2. Yet the supervisor still expects you to be efficient.

3. You are given five days to list products on the e-commerce platform, but it takes until the end of the third day to get the account and password after repeatedly asking. Once the products are finally listed, you are then told that you were inefficient and given a warning.

4. No holiday bonuses; only one mooncake is given at Mid-Autumn Festival.

5. Things are often required at the last minute, without providing reasonable resources or time.

6. For example, a flyer is needed the next day, but the printing company and copy shop are already closed. Later, you are not allowed to print it at a convenience store, nor can you use the printer to print in color because it would be too expensive. You can only grit your teeth and print it, then wait to be criticized by the first-generation owner.

7. The printer often jams or has a host of problems, and time is frequently wasted dealing with it. Yet the printer supplier is not replaced because they are a friend of the owner.

8. The company saves money in inexplicable ways that make employees' work difficult. For example, for the government-mandated restaurant food labeling, they would rather have an employee spend an hour driving back and forth to obtain it from the responsible government agency than spend 10 minutes and 10 dollars downloading and printing the image from the government website... Then they blame the employee for being inefficient.

9. The first- and second-generation owners have differing opinions, leaving employees at a loss over how to work. Even when following tasks that have already been confirmed, you may still be scolded or questioned... This results in spending even more time reconfirming details or communicating back and forth... and then employees are blamed for being inefficient.
