Read the community guidelinesNot many requirements for job applicants; no foreign language skills needed.
Basically, almost every team can clock in and out on time.
The only teams that frequently work overtime are plant management, technical training, and finance.
There has been no salary adjustment for many years, and quite a few colleagues leave after staying for only 3 months to 1 year; supervisors only make empty promises.
There is no overtime pay, only time off in lieu.
It is recommended to stay for one year at most and use the job as a stepping stone.
Leaving work on time
The company wants to undergo digital transformation, but the employees’ level of expertise is quite low. Basically, there is no budget for the equipment and staff training required for the transformation. System issues and equipment issues are mixed together. If you want to interview for a job at this company, please have 5–10 years or more of relevant experience in system development and helpdesk support, database integration, and network equipment management and configuration before applying.
The salary and benefits are very low. Roughly calculated, after deducting labor and health insurance premiums and meal expenses, the monthly take-home pay is probably less than 30,000.
For the reasons above, the company leans toward traditional manufacturing and has no corresponding understanding or plan for digital transformation. There are many pain points that need to be corrected. In terms of staffing, it also follows the traditional-industry approach: continue using whatever is available and avoid increasing costs whenever possible. Therefore, outdated equipment and a lack of personnel are the biggest problems.
If the company wants to improve, it may require considerable time, manpower, and effort to integrate and modify the architecture. Depending on the company’s size, there is a high chance this cannot be achieved because it cannot afford to spend a large amount of money, and it cannot hire enough people. In short, anyone who wants to come for an interview needs to be prepared to take on an impossible mission and act as a firefighter every day. You may have to travel to all the company’s sites across Taiwan, from north to south, at your own expense.
