Hopefully there will be no more victims.
A typical family-run factory. The small boss is currently in charge. The laser section leader is difficult to get along with; he met the small boss while serving in the military, has a very bad temper, and will snap at you if you politely ask him something. The Taiwanese employee responsible for file conversion is also difficult to deal with. The laser cutting is handled by foreign workers who understand a little Taiwanese. Basically, whenever you encounter the laser department, you will be extremely frustrated.
Production control will ask you to go downstairs to look for sheet-metal parts, claiming that you know the things you drew better. In other words, they shirk their responsibilities and turn them into your problem. You cannot even finish your drawings, yet you still have to go downstairs to look for things.
Depending on the situation, the administrative assistant can reassign orders originally given by the small boss to someone else for drafting. Do you see what is going on? As long as the administrative assistant dislikes you, you will have to draw yourself to death every day. The small boss strongly supports the administrative assistant, and one or two bad comments from her can outweigh one or two years of your efforts.
The office favorite is the small boss’s toady. If you offend him, you are also on a dead-end path. Moreover, the abbot is very petty. Do not think that being friendly toward him will be enough. If he envies your abilities, you are doomed.
Most of the other office draftspeople have a retirement-minded attitude and draw extremely slowly. Newcomers are bound to be exploited. If you draw quickly to prove yourself when you first join, more orders will keep being added. In other words, the old employees keep dragging their feet while you, the newcomer, keep drawing. It is extremely unfair.
The welding section leader is frightening. If you do not follow his suggestions, he will deliberately do your work incorrectly, then say that this happened because you did not listen to him in the first place, forcing you to use his approach. Only his method is considered the best.
Only the press brake department is somewhat normal…
