Sometimes there isn't much work
1. A traditional southern Taiwan office space: the entire townhouse is the boss's home, with the first floor used as the workspace, so employees have to clean the premises themselves and wait for the garbage truck to come to dispose of the trash.
2. However, only female employees are responsible for all the miscellaneous tasks. Every morning as soon as they arrive at the office, they have to clean the entire first floor thoroughly, including the arcade, desks, tea table, and restroom. I learned a lot of cleaning skills there.
3. There is only one restroom, so people with digestive problems or small bladders may find it very difficult.
4. Since female employees are responsible for many miscellaneous tasks, taking leave increases the workload for others. As a result, the company is very opposed to employees who need to take “long-term leave” or “unpaid leave of absence.”
