Read the community guidelinesAlthough it is an outsourcing company, it does offer an annual bonus.
During the interview, they promised a one-month year-end bonus, so I worked very hard.
After spending a month replacing 27 water pumps, they told me, “You did a great job...” and gave me a small bonus... (A pump replacement costs 500–
1000 outside, but what I received was only around the market rate for 9 of them.)
I thought there would be a year-end bonus, so I put up with it. Later, another 5X pumps needed replacing, and I replaced 32 in total.
Even when the temperature was 16°C that day, I was still immersed in the pool replacing pumps. I developed a fever of 39°C on the second day.
I continued replacing water pumps while immersed in the water. For the year-end bonus, I still worked as if my life depended on it.
Every month, we held a meeting, and the manager would only say, “You did a great job. There will definitely be a one-month year-end bonus.” (I record every meeting. If you think I’m lying, I’d be happy to upload the recordings.)
But when the end of the year came... there was no one-month year-end bonus. Even when I asked the manager, the answer was simply, “[I don’t know].” That was when I learned
what it means to break your word and issue empty promises. Anyone joining the company should always be prepared with a voice recorder, because without recordings, many verbal promises will only leave you ending up like me: working like a dog without increasing your year-end bonus.........
