This page collects workplace experiences, questions and discussions submitted by users. Dates shown are submission dates, not periods of employment. Individual reports do not describe the entire company.
Read the community guidelinesNo need to clock in or out when commuting to and from work
1. The boss does not teach people; he only keeps asking employees to read previous correspondence and then raises questions based on it. If you do not ask him any questions, he will think that you are not committed to the company. He may even ask a newly hired employee whether they received emails sent by someone several months ago, a year ago, or N years ago (how could someone who just started possibly know?).
2. If the direction of an email is wrong, the boss will not guide you or suggest corrections. He will tell you, “I don’t even want to bother with it,” and wait to see when you discover the mistake.
3. The computer files left by previous employees are a complete mess. To find information, you have to open the folders on every computer in the company one by one, but the boss will not give you time to search.
4. The company does not provide bonuses for the three major traditional holidays or meal allowances, let alone any other benefits.
5. The company has a history of labor-management disputes and other legal disputes.
6. The boss will dismiss employees for inexplicable reasons under various pretexts, but will not provide severance pay or a certificate of involuntary resignation. You must negotiate through the Labor Bureau to obtain them.
