The kitchen and restrooms are beautiful and spotless. After use, there cannot be a single drop of water on the sink, or a supervisor will lose their temper and shout angrily. As a result, after using the restroom, operators all go outside to the mop-washing area to wash their hands. If the restrooms are like this, there is even less need to mention other aspects. Everyone never knows when this emotionally unstable supervisor will lose their temper or even become hysterical. It feels like serving a member of an ancient royal family—you never know when the other person will lose their temper and give you an angry look over something very minor.
The following are real examples:
1. Someone brought fruit to the company and put it in the refrigerator for another colleague. When the fruit in the refrigerator was noticed, the person was scolded: “The refrigerator is for you to store your lunch boxes. Don’t put anything else in it!”
2. No matter how hot the weather is, people on the production line do not dare to touch the air conditioning because they do not know whether the supervisor thinks it is hot enough.
3. An operator who was not feeling well went to the restroom in the middle of a break and was seen. The supervisor scolded the person and said they were not allowed to go. When told that it was for health reasons, the supervisor replied: “Submit a medical certificate.”
4. At this company, any unused annual leave is forfeited. Near the end of the year, an operator took leave for personal matters even though the shipment deadlines were clearly scheduled with plenty of time. The supervisor, who did not understand the required working hours, blamed the person for poor cooperation and continued to look displeased for a long time.
