Cons

By all means, do not join this company. The only reason to join this company is to use the air conditioning, get online on a computer, and look for another job. The main reason is just one person: the boss.

1. The boss of this company is unbelievably stingy. No matter what happens or what gets damaged, he blames the employees. He even says he will make trouble for employees or give them major demerits, and constantly threatens employees by saying he will deduct their pay. Even employees who do not participate in company trips have performance points deducted. It is absolutely outrageous.

2. The boss receives a large year-end bonus himself, but keeps deducting employees’ year-end bonuses. Every year he says the company is operating at a loss, then pays out less than one-third of the year-end bonus, allowing himself to make money while employees struggle to receive very little. It is unbearable.

3. The boss does not listen to employees’ opinions, yet keeps demanding that employees give their opinions. Is he an idiot? Then he acts on his own wrong ideas, makes mistakes, and blames employees for not reminding him. It is astounding. With the boss’s ears completely blocked, how are employees supposed to remind him?

4. When employees are fired, the boss still does not pay the severance pay, and only pays it after someone files a lawsuit.

5. The boss ignores employees’ advice and insists on illegally making pharmaceutical products. As a result, the company was fined, but he expects the entire company to pay the fine for him. He really deserves a beating.

In short, there are far too many flaws to list. The key point is that this company has no future. The boss is useless. The road ahead is completely dark.

Pros

The colleagues are all nice, and everyone helps one another. Although there are only five people in production besides the team leader, overtime is uncommon. The work is sometimes physically demanding and sometimes easy. There is no transportation allowance.

Cons

The holiday bonuses depend on whether the boss wants to give them. At first, they said there would be bonuses, but in the end they still did not give any. The working environment is poor; sometimes snakes even get inside. Inspections are just for show and are not actually carried out properly, although they still passed. Everyone can figure out what that might mean. The meal allowance is NT$1,800 per month—what are you supposed to eat? There is no cafeteria, so you have to arrange your own lunch. How can a boss be so stingy? As for the staff: the production department team leader wants to eat but does not want to pay or earn money (Taiwanese expression). When employees make mistakes, she only scolds them and does not teach them. She also likes to go around speaking ill of people. When she should stand up for her subordinates, she does not. Pathetic. Yet she expects her subordinates to support her—how could that happen? She is often not on the production floor, chatting in the break room. The assistant manager is two-faced and cannot explain things clearly. He often lies to cover up another lie. He is completely controlled by the two female team leaders. He often makes dirty jokes toward the team leaders over there; what exactly is their relationship? If something happens, absolutely do not go to him for advice, because the two female team leaders will influence him, and you will often end up being spoken about very harshly. The team leader and deputy team leader often disagree, frequently causing trouble for the people below them and exhausting them. We often do work for nothing. In short, it is terrible. It is just a job—if someone does not do something well, teach them properly and move on. Is there really a need to go around speaking ill of people and use it as small talk to pass the time? They never teach anyone, and they never explain things clearly. Do they think I can read minds? Friends who see this post, if you care about yourself, you should still look for another company!
