This happened about six months ago, when I had just completed my military service and was looking for my first job.
General Manager Huang asked me to come that day for an interview at the Taipei Arena, where they were hosting the HBL. We had a very pleasant conversation (but he mainly talked about his own accomplishments and did not ask many questions to get to know me in depth). He said I was okay and asked me to go home, think it over carefully, and call him.
Because I had originally really wanted to enter the sports industry, I discussed it with my family and called him the next day. He did not answer, so I called again the following day. I was told he was away on a business trip and that I should call him the next week. When I called the following week, he said he needed to speak with my future supervisor and that they would “contact me” the next day. After two days passed without any news, I called again. He said he needed to confirm with another supervisor and asked me to wait another week...
I completely lost my temper and turned down the offer directly. What a terrible company—there is absolutely no respect for people... I hope everyone avoids stepping on this landmine.
