Pros

Most patients are very understanding of how busy the assistants are; the doctors seem nice, and the technicians even joke around with the nursing staff, so the atmosphere appears to be quite good; the colleagues on the evening orthopedics shift seem easy to get along with.

Cons

I only have the experience of doing a trial shift for one day.

When I went to the site for the interview and was filling out the form, I also heard the store manager grumbling that no one had told them I was coming for an interview that day, suggesting there may be a communication gap between the head office’s HR department and the branch. I then waited for more than nearly an hour before finally getting to the interview. The woman ahead of me spent less than five minutes finishing her “video interview” before it was my turn. (Not to mention that on the day I went for the trial shift, someone had an interview but waited nearly two hours, while the staff on site were completely indifferent to the fact that someone was waiting.)

Less than an hour after the interview, the HR department sent me a text message notifying me that I had been accepted.

The text said to arrive at 8:50, but when I went in on the first day, I waited until exactly 9:00 before someone opened the door. Once inside, I had to fill out and review a contract of more than ten pages, as well as a “waiver acknowledging that the observation day is unpaid,” which had not been mentioned at all during the interview. The first day of work was an observation day (although the wording says “observation,” in practice I still had to work; if I was not proactive enough, the deputy store manager would make sarcastic remarks, even asking whether I needed to be led through cleaning tasks).

The workload and salary are extremely disproportionate. The workload is roughly equivalent to that of several people at other clinics, yet there is only one employee. During the probationary period, the pay is almost just the minimum wage (even with increases, it is still disproportionate).

Whenever you go out, you have to report it to the head office; even buying things requires a report, and all documents and the condition of the workplace at the end of each day must be reported.

Overall, the high turnover rate can be attributed to the low wages, while the number of responsibilities is absurdly large.

Unless you want to challenge your own “endurance,” I do not recommend going to this company.

Pros

The environment is okay

Cons

Mei Renxin-related system

The interview was conducted via Skype. She could see the interviewee, but the interviewee could not see her. Is she afraid of being recognized if she conducts interviews carelessly?

The receptionist’s quality was poor. A colleague was preparing to pour water for the interviewee, but she told the colleague not to give it to her and told her to drink it herself.
