Pros

At the beginning, you are asked to write your basic information in Chinese (). A total of five people interviewed you: two Japanese managers, one of whom had just returned to Japan; one female translation manager; one male IT manager; and one general affairs manager. At the beginning, you are asked to introduce yourself. Then the IT manager asks whether you have backup experience.

The IT manager says that the job duties are similar to those of your previous job. For the ERP section, you need to connect with Japan using a dedicated line, Wi-Fi, etc.

They also ask whether you are in good physical condition. Working hours are from 08:00 to 17:00, with a 40-minute lunch break and two 10-minute breaks, one from 10:00 to 10:10 and one from 15:00 to 15:10. For the first three months, you are employed through a staffing company. After the three-month probationary period, you are transferred from the staffing company to a permanent position.

Cons

The manager who returned to Japan asks whether this position would be underutilizing your abilities. You answer that it would not. The Taiwanese manager says that even if you are hired, during the initial three-month probationary period, the staffing company will be the one to notify you. This Japanese company is really engaging in shady practices just to save on severance pay.
