Only people with nowhere else to go would work in security. I experienced this deeply at Weixin Security,
so I quit after only one month.
Salary: Unstable and completely different from what was stated in the interview. Lin Yicai, the financial committee member of Zhubei Aurora Liuli Community, is also a useless person, claiming to be from the AUO Group while specializing in reducing security staffing. The day-shift security guard Gao Zhenyu (Xiao Gao), born in 1990 (a vulgar coward from Xinpu who doesn't dare show up to settle things), sleeps throughout his shifts. After sleeping and eating his fill, he has sex with his girlfriend upstairs in the reading room. The general affairs director, Zeng Zihao, born in 1990, takes substitute shifts at other communities for fun, sleeping while earning money by working 24–48-hour security shifts. In the end, the unlucky one is the regular day-shift security guard, who is the only one working. Zeng Zihao, the general affairs director born in 1990, hides in the dark room by the emergency exit of Building A, sleeping there like a sleeping Arhat. Gao Zhenyu, the vulgar coward from Xinpu, has to take Saturdays and Sundays off to act as a pimp and handle events. In the end, the sole remaining day-shift security guard has to hold down the entire site alone. Residents demand that the automatic door be opened for entry and exit while saying “hello.” Since there is no card-swipe access control, no one knows whether the people coming in are ghosts or perverts. There is a swimming pool inside, and the girls in swimsuits are the favorite targets of outside perverts. The day-shift security guard has to deal with outside visitors being brought into different buildings. If you want to exchange an ID card for a public access card for visitors, there may not be enough access cards. Entering package information, escorting visitors, and opening the automatic door—this is enough to keep you busy. Fortunately, I’m not someone with nowhere else to go, so I ran away as quickly as I could.
Weixin Security

Position: Operations Supervisor
Two days off per week, eight-hour workday
Monthly salary: NT$32,000 to NT$36,000
Advertised benefits: Company vehicle and work phone provided; 8 days off per month
Two days off per week means that all security personnel at the assigned site work normal shifts and hand over duties.
If a security guard does not show up for work, a mobile relief worker must be assigned to work at the site.
If no replacement can be arranged, you have to step in and cover the shift yourself (in other words, an 8-hour workday is replaced with a 12-hour shift).
If the community holds a residents' meeting on Saturday or Sunday, you have to participate and provide support.
Recruiting security guards (extremely understaffed!!!! Low pay, long hours, and many miscellaneous community tasks make recruitment difficult)
