1. Frequently required to handle the senior manager’s personal errands.
Examples: driving her to a psychology clinic, delivering things to her friends, buying dinner for her son, arranging her schedule, checking and replying to LINE messages, and so on. You are completely treated as a personal secretary.
2. The senior manager’s personality is unpredictable. She does whatever comes to mind, constantly changes her instructions, and has no principles whatsoever, making it impossible to work properly!!!
3. The company has no systems or SOPs. The senior manager will even use SOPs she has "temporarily drafted" herself to reject everything you have worked hard to accomplish.
4. The senior manager has periodic outbursts. For a period of time, she will continually target the same person and overturn everything that person does. She may say that doing something this way is great one month, then criticize it a month later by saying, “How could it be so awful?” and make similar comments.
5. The senior manager only likes to hear flattering words and is completely impossible to communicate with. If a colleague steps in to help speak up, they may be directly told to shut up.
6. “Performance bonuses are just a dream.” When a larger client comes in, the boss’s wife will use every possible means to take the client back into her own hands.
7. The company’s hardware, software, desks, and chairs are old. The senior manager keeps saying they should be replaced and updated, but after two months of talking, nothing has been done.
8. The senior manager never explains tasks clearly, but expects the results to match what she has in mind. If the work is not done well, she becomes furious.
9. Employee turnover is extremely high, and the workload is large and highly miscellaneous.
10. There are always meaningless meetings, mobilizing the entire company. Many employees in unrelated positions are also pulled in to sit through lectures.
11. The senior manager particularly likes asking employees to do things during their lunch breaks.
12. Paydays are unstable.
13. The senior manager loves telling stories about herself and lecturing others, but she cannot do what she says herself.
14. The senior manager’s thoughts are extremely scattered. She starts doing A, then suddenly runs off to do B or C. Nothing can be done properly; the employees are always left to clean up the mess.
15. Going out in a car driven by the senior manager can put your life at risk. She is an exceptionally terrible driver who treats other people’s lives as a joke: driving the wrong way, reversing on a national freeway after realizing she took the wrong exit, bursting a tire after driving onto the edge of a roadside drainage ditch on an ordinary road, and then expecting employees to clean up afterward… and so on.
