The starting salary is NT$27,000, which is considered average for positions in Yilan. The annual bonus is said to be at least two months’ salary; last year’s bonus was two and a half months.
The interviewer (supervisor) said, “It still depends on your performance.” Therefore, the annual bonus still cannot be guaranteed.
Another advantage is that employees can use the sports facilities for free. Each month, they also receive five admission tickets that can be exchanged for free access to the gym or swimming pool. (They can be given to others.)
Shift work is required. For example, in a 20-day work month, 10 days are assigned to the front desk at the outdoor facility, and 10 days to meeting deadlines on indoor work.
There is a quarterly publication every year. It must be submitted by the deadline; the supervisor said to submit it within ten days, including weekends and holidays. I asked, “What should I do if I’m assigned to the front desk during that time? Can my outdoor-facility shifts be rearranged?” The supervisor replied, “You need to coordinate with your own schedule. If you work overtime, you can fill out an overtime form, but it needs to be submitted for the supervisor’s approval. You can’t just fill it out arbitrarily; it only counts if the supervisor approves it.”
(In other words, you are responsible for managing your own progress. Even if you are assigned to the front desk that day, your schedule continues to run. The quarterly publication is approximately 20 pages, in color, and requires the use of supplied materials, illustrations, or hand-drawn illustrations. The copy will be provided by the relevant department.)
There are three shifts: 6:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and 2:00 p.m.
There is one computer that can run only Photoshop and Illustrator. If you find it too slow, you have to bring your own computer.
No meals are provided; you need to bring your own.
