Read the community guidelinesThe salary is considered quite good for the traditional manufacturing industry.
There is no established system, the manager is emotional, and turnover is high. You need to have an exceptionally high EQ to survive.
The starting salary is very attractive for newcomers.
Absolutely terrible.
The boss is moody, treats people differently, bullies the weak, and fears the strong.
You need to have an extremely high EQ to stay there.
Employees are not treated well.
There are no systems or standards; the boss does whatever they want.
Meaningless meetings are held frequently, and the boss spends them berating employees and venting their own emotions.
Sometimes the boss even makes personal attacks, and vulgar language and profanity are constantly used.
The workplace is extremely unsanitary.
The boss and their entire family never clean, believing that employees should handle everything because they spend money hiring them.
Betel nut spittle is left everywhere, and food is not cleaned up.
The company withholds employees’ wages.
Pay is not even calculated according to a monthly salary system.
Instead, it is calculated by working days, with 10 days of annual leave deducted from each employee’s allowance.
On average, they tell you that you only work 20 days a month.
You have to be extremely careful when requesting leave.
They may deduct nearly NT$2,000 from your pay for a single day; you can only endure it silently there.
You have to wait until you resign before filing a complaint.
Even more outrageous, they require you to use annual leave for national holidays such as New Year’s Day.
New employees do not have annual leave, so their wages are deducted, and the deduction is extremely large, as mentioned above.
Only after other employees pointed out that this was illegal did the boss reluctantly restore the deducted leave.
The main point is that, aside from the seemingly decent monthly salary,
there are absolutely no other benefits.
There are no company trips, year-end banquets, year-end bonuses, or back-to-work red envelopes.
The promised three traditional holiday bonuses are not provided either.
Whenever you want to request leave, the boss acts as if you have committed an unforgivable offense.
They do not show it at first,
but later make sarcastic remarks and act as though taking leave is completely unacceptable.
The boss is not proactive about their own work and is frequently absent from the office.
Almost all miscellaneous tasks are basically dumped on new employees.
This company has an extremely high turnover rate.
Some people leave after only a day or two.
They cannot stand the boss’s harsh words and unpredictable moods.
I strongly advise against joining this company.
The company’s business is currently doing very poorly, while the boss spends money without restraint.
They cut employees’ benefits everywhere.
Requesting leave is treated as an unforgivable offense.
I have never seen such an awful company. Everyone, please be careful.
